ABOUT OUR ST.ANN’S COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
St.Ann’s college of education institution was established on May 2003. It is completely owned and administered by the Congregation of sisters of St.Anne registered under the society Registration Act of 1972 S. No.67. It is located in the Venkatapuram village, Mudigonda Mandal towards Kodad road. It is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bangalore and affiliated to Kakatiya University, Warangal
The sole aim of St.Ann’s education is to form compassionate, committed, competent, conscientious and creative men and women for others. The mission of the St.Ann’s is crystallized in their preferential option for a large number of Catholics, Dalit Catholics, and first generation learners, economically poor and vulnerable students. Thus St.Ann’s in the education apostolate pay undivided attention to the empowerment of the marginalized and the oppressed.
Since its inception, St.Ann’s college of Education(ANSK) has been focusing on the formation of intellectual capacity, training of the will and formation of character of the student-teachers, thus ensuring the integral formation of the prospective teachers. St.Ann’s is committed to inculcating desirable social and human values and moral principles that would make the student-teachers principled, value-oriented and responsible teachers. St.Ann’s provides also a wide range of opportunities and experiences for student-teachers to discover their potentialities both physical and intellectual and cultivate their artistic and aesthetic sense through cultural extravaganza
The Auditorium, Multipurpose
hall and Classrooms are thoroughly utilized for curricular, co-curricular and
extra-curricular activities. The college has created kiosk amongst lush green
trees for recreation of the students
The institution is totally
technology enabled. There is 24*7 internet and Wi-Fi connection available for
the staff and students. There are two Over Head Projectors (OHP), OHP utilised
to make teaching-learning meaningful.
The library is fully well furnished
with huge number of books. The staff and students visit the library as often
as possible for reference. The poor student-teachers avail the facility of book
bank to borrow books
